Intermittent Horn Problem Due to Animal Hair?

This video shows an interesting cause of an intermittent horn problem that plagued this customer for many years.  When the driver’s wheel was disassembled for access to the horn contact (underneath the red wires), we removed fibrous debris that resembled HORSE HAIR of all things, maybe dog hair? (The owner of this Chevy Silverado loves horses!)  Once this foreign material was removed and the steering wheel was put back together, horn operation was restored and the vehicle will pass state inspection.
