Why To Rotate Your Tires and Do Alignment Checks

This vehicle was shaking violently on a test drive. A badly worn and out of balance tire was the culprit.  The flat spot on the tire was most likely caused from misalignment and lack of tire rotation following an impact, like hitting a curb. The result is something like trying to drive around on an egg-shaped tire. You can avoid this condition by having your vehicle’s tires rotated at every oil change and by getting alignment checks after any tire impact, such as hitting a pothole or a curb. This will extend the life of your tires and result in a smoother ride.
